1. Purpose
These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) govern access to and use of the OZ Apply service, available at ozapply.io (the “Service”).
OZ Apply is an AI-powered resume optimisation tool built for the Australian job market and aimed mainly at Working Holiday Visa holders.
2. Acceptance of the Terms
By accessing the Service, creating an account or using any of its features, you accept these Terms without reservation. If you do not accept these terms, you may not use the Service.
OZ Apply reserves the right to change these Terms at any time. If a change is material, you will be notified by email. Continuing to use the Service after notification constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
3. Description of the Service
OZ Apply offers the following features:
- Free ATS scanner: analysis of your resume and an ATS score
- Resume generator: AI rewriting and optimisation of your resume for the Australian market
- Cover letter generation tailored to the job ad
- PDF export of your optimised resume
- Resume templates in Australian, ATS-ready formats
The Service uses artificial intelligence (Claude, by Anthropic) to generate and optimise resume content. Results are provided for guidance only and do not guarantee that you will be hired.
4. User account
Some features of the Service require an account. You agree to provide accurate information when you sign up and to keep your login details confidential.
You are solely responsible for all activity carried out from your account. Any unauthorised use of your account must be reported immediately to contact@ozapply.io.
5. Plans and subscriptions
OZ Apply offers a permanent free plan and a paid offer, the Application Assistant. The features and limits of each plan are detailed on the Pricing page.

6. AI-generated content
The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate content (resumes, cover letters, recommendations). Accordingly:
- Responsibility for accuracy: you are solely responsible for checking that the generated content is accurate, honest and consistent with your actual background. OZ Apply cannot be held liable for the consequences of inaccurate or misleading information submitted to employers.
- No guarantee of results: using the Service does not imply any guarantee of an interview, a job offer or a reply from employers.
- Ownership of content: the content of your original resume belongs to you. The optimised resume generated by OZ Apply is assigned to you free of charge for personal use.
7. Browser extension
The OZ Apply browser extension is free to install. It works with your OZ Apply account, and the features that use artificial intelligence consume the AI credits of your plan, as described on the pricing page. In addition to these Terms:
- Licence: we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to use the extension with your OZ Apply account. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer or redistribute it, or use it to build a competing service, except as the law allows.
- You start and control each application: the extension acts only when you start an application and, by default, stops before sending so that you can review it. You are responsible for the information in your profile and resume, for checking the application and the answers filled in on your behalf before they are sent (in particular if you turn on automatic sending), and for what you send to employers.
- Third-party websites: SEEK, employers and other websites are independent from OZ Apply. OZ Apply is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by them. You are responsible for complying with the terms of the websites you use and for the use of your accounts on them. These websites may change or restrict their pages or terms at any time, which may prevent the extension from working or lead those websites to restrict your account on them. We do not control this and do not guarantee that the extension will work on any website.
- No guarantee of outcome: OZ Apply does not guarantee that an application will be submitted, received, shortlisted or accepted, or that suggested answers will be accurate, complete or suitable. Suggested answers are drafted from your profile and may contain errors.
- Indicative information: match scores, visa-compatibility indications and the other assessments shown next to an offer are indicative only. They are not immigration, legal or employment advice, and do not replace checking the offer, your visa conditions and the information published by the relevant authorities.
- Liability: to the maximum extent permitted by law, OZ Apply is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from your use of the extension on third-party websites or from information you submit to employers. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any right or remedy that cannot be excluded or limited by law, including your rights as a consumer.
- Suspension: we may suspend or end your access to the extension if you breach these Terms or if its use risks harming OZ Apply, its users or third parties.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Submit deliberately fraudulent information to employers
- Attempt to bypass the Service's security or rate-limiting mechanisms
- Resell or redistribute the Service's outputs for commercial purposes without permission
- Use the Service in an automated way (bots, scripts) without prior written agreement
- Carry out any illegal activity or any activity contrary to applicable law
9. Intellectual property
The whole Service (design, code, algorithms, text, logos, AI prompts) is the exclusive property of OZ Apply or its partners and is protected by intellectual property law.
No reproduction, copying or exploitation of the Service or its components is permitted without prior written agreement.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, OZ Apply cannot be held liable for:
- Any loss of professional opportunity, income or data
- The accuracy of information generated by AI
- Service interruptions due to maintenance or technical incidents
- Decisions made by employers or recruiters based on your resume
OZ Apply's total liability, whatever the cause, may not exceed the amount paid by the user during the last 3 months.
11. Termination
You can delete your account at any time from your Dashboard. Deleting your account removes all your personal data within 30 days.
OZ Apply reserves the right to suspend or terminate an account for breach of these Terms, without notice or refund.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by French law. Any dispute relating to their interpretation or performance will be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts.
